A recent announcement confirmed that International Game Technology (IGT), has a new partnership deal with the National Basketball Association (NBA). This makes IGT the first B2B platform for sports wagering located in the USA to supply official logos marks and data concerning the NBA for sports books and casinos in America.
Sports betting consumers will be able to utilize intellectual property generated by the NBA including team official data and logos as well as league logos after signing the multi-year arrangement with IGT.
Enrico Drago, IGT’s PlayDigital Senior Vice President, commented on the arrangement saying that “partnering with the NBA and providing official league data to its PlaySports customers provides further validation that IGT is serious about delivering an unrivaled solution for sports betting in the United States of America.” Mr.Drago added to his comment by stating that” he feels working with the NBA will help the company’s customers to create betting menus that are compelling for sports fans across the nation.”
Head of Fantasy & Gaming, NBA Senior Vice President, Scott Kaufman-Ross, had this to say about the premier deal with IGT, “This partnership with IGT marks the first time a platform provider can offer an ‘out of the box’ authentic NBA sports betting solution to a diverse set of operators across the U.S. This agreement will allow regional operators across the country to have direct access to NBA assets to create the best NBA gaming experience and further engage our fans.”
