Recently Athens based Intralot SA announced that its subsidiary in New Zealand, Intralot NZ Ltd., has signed a three year contract extension from 2022 to 2025 with a one-year option, with the Department of Internal Affairs (DIA). The contract covers the provision of Electronic Monitoring Services which will continue offering a comprehensive reporting, accounting, auditing and secure management of the country’s Class 4 gaming venues.
The firm and the New Zealand Department of Internal Affairs have extended their arrangement to provide the government organization with Intralot’s advanced expertise in New Zealand’s slot gambling market. Intralot SA began offering its electronic monitoring services in 2007 to give its operating partners the ability ‘to track and monitor gaming machine operations in pubs and clubs’ for the purposes of ‘ensuring the integrity of games and the accurate financial reporting’. The penned deal also has a one-year extension clause that could see cooperation between the two entities until 2026.

Intralot has been awarded the sought after Responsible Gaming Framework certification by the World Lottery Association and is certified under the WLA Security Control Standard.
